Comedian-actor Erica Ash was announced dead on July 28th in Los Angeles. The actress’s cause of death is revealed to be cancer.
“Erica was an amazing woman and talented entertainer who touched countless lives with her sharp wit, humor, and genuine zest for life. Her memory will live eternally in our hearts,” her mother said.

Ash graduated from Emory University with a degree in pre-medicine. However, she ultimately chose to pursue an entertainment career. During her early years, she was part of the case in Broadway’s rendition of “The Lion King.” She eventually became a cast member on Rosie O’Donnell’s “The Big Gay Sketch Show.”
In addition, Erica Ash has starred in various shows, such as MAD TV and Real Husbands of Hollywood. Audiences also recognized the actress for her performances in “Scary Movie V” and “Survivor’s Remorse.
During her career as an actress, Ash once revealed in an interview on Times that she wanted a more varied career. She took on numerous roles then, but most were similar to her character in “Real Husbands of Hollywood.”
“I want to make choices based on what I want to read about myself when I’m older. For me, it’s just about growing and moving forward. One thing led to another, so I tell people I’m the Forrest Gump of my field. I walked through life by faith, saying ‘yes’ to things that came my way, and it led me here,” she told the Times.

“I am sad to confirm my friend and fellow actress Erica Ash’s passing,” comedian and former talk show host Loni Love wrote on Instagram. “Erica was talented and hilarious whether it was the show Survivor’s Remorse or MAD TV she would put her all into her work. My sincere condolences to her family and fans.”
The death of Erica Ash at 46has left an impact on her family and loved ones. They requested donations to breast cancer foundations.
