Actor Yoo Ah-in has been accused of sexually assaulting a 30-year-old man. Well known for his roles in the Netflix series ‘Hellbound’ and zombie film ‘#Alive,’ news of Yoo Ah-in’s sexual assault has surprised both Pinoy and Korean fans alike.
According to Korea Times, officials at the Seoul Yongsan Police Station are investigating the rape case and plan to summon the actor for questioning soon. The complaints against the actor were received on Thursday.

The accuser stated Yoo Ah-in sexually assaulted him when he was asleep at a unit of a commercial-residential building located at Yongsan-gu. Yoo’s lawyer, Bang Jung Hyun, quickly released a statement denying the allegations and stating that the claims were “unfounded.”
“We clarify that the allegations in the complaint are not true,” He stated when questioned by reporters.
The lawyer also urges the public to make unnecessary speculations related to the actor.
Investigators are considering the possibility that Yoo may have been under the influence of drugs during the incident. They have already questioned and did a rapid drug test on the accuser, with results coming back negative.

Yoo Ah-in is currently on trial for illegally using anesthetic propofol on 181 different occasions a few years back. The actor has also made headlines after testing positive for marijuana, propofol, ketamine, and cocaine.
In light of the situation, Yoo Ah-in has been dropped from various projects, including a potential new season of ‘Hellbound.’
