Sony has officially released the much-awaited trailer for 28 Years Later, marking the return of the 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later franchise.
Directed once again by Danny Boyle, this latest installment promises to revive the thrilling apocalyptic horror fans have been waiting for.
Boyle reunites with writer Alex Garland, who penned the original 28 Days Later, to kick off a new trilogy.
The movie is set nearly three decades after the rage virus was unleashed. 28 Years Later follows a group of survivors living on a small island, protected from the infected.
However, one survivor embarks on a dangerous mission to the mainland. He later uncovered the terrifying new mutations in both the infected and other survivors.
