Brazilian model and actress Priscilla Meirelles sits with Luis Manzano on his latest YouTube vlog. She said she wanted an interview to clear the air due to all the controversy surrounding her.

The interview started with Priscilla Meirelle’s story, including how she grew up in Brazil and moved to the Philippines. In her birthday social media post, she said that she was reborn. When Luis asked her what this meant, she answered, “Kasi madami akong pinagdaanan this past year. And actually– I’ve come to a lot of realizations in my life.”

“Feeling ko dumadaan ako sa maraming realizations that, iba ‘yung gusto kong mangyari sa buhay ko ngayon. May marami akong natutunan, tsaka marami akong narealize,” Priscilla added.

Her three realizations for this year include family is everything, God is everything, and self-love. “I really need to love ‘yung sarili ko. Self-love, because I’m the type of person that I give, I give, I give. And parang naubasan ako eh. So, there is nothing left for me for many years. So these past years narealize ko that I need to love myself first so that I can love others better.”

Priscilla comes from a very business-minded family. Before coming to the Philippines to pursue an entertainment career, she wanted to study to become a doctor.

She also mentioned how she was trained to work hard from a young age. “Eleven years old pinapapunta na ako sa office. By eleven, twelve years old may credit card na ako. Ako yung gagastos sa grocery, ‘yung mga school supplies. Kasi my mom’s a working mom. So, from eleven years old I was trained to already work in the family business.”

When Luis asked her if she could change in the past, what would it be? She said that she wouldn’t have gotten married too young. “Getting married it stopped me from doing too much things eh. Because when you become a wife and a mother, of course limited ka. ‘Yung focus mo now is your family, your kids.”

Priscilla Meirelles has a daughter with her husband, John Estrada. However, the two are currently separated. News quickly broke of their status last year due to cheating allegations. Priscilla Mereilles and her husband got married in 2011.

However, she said that she doesn’t regret anything. “So I just pray that this time around, I can somehow resume them (her dreams). Or at least you know, somehow be able to achieve some of them.”
