On Thalia’s Instagram post, many fans anticipated the recreation of the Mexican actress.

The 1994 drama “MariMar” first premiered and aired in the Philippines in 1996. It portrays the story of a woman who lives in a hut and falls in love with a wealthy guy named Sergio.

In the Philippines, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes have portrayed Marimar and Sergio in the GMA Network adaptation, which debuted in 2007.

“Marimar,” “Rosalinda,” “Maria Mercedes,” and “Maria la del Barrio” were among the Mexican telenovelas with Thalia that were shown in the Philippines.

Remakes of the three other series, starring Carla Abellana for “Rosalinda,” Erich Gonzales for “Maria la del Barrio,” and Jessy Mendiola for “Maria Mercedes,” were also produced in the Philippines. – WhatALife!/Brix
