The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) recently opened Registration Centers for the Step 2 registration process for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) in Cagayan de Oro City.

During the Step 2 registration, PSA personnel will collect the registrants’ biometric information, including Front-facing photograph, Iris scan, and fingerprints. According to PSA, the average time for the Step 2 Registration is around 15-minutes.

To avoid long lines and mass crowding, the PhilSys Step 2 registration will only cater to scheduled applications. Note: Make sure to accomplish the online registration at https://register.philsys.gov.ph/#/eng first to secure the Appointment Reference Number (ARN). Registrants must bring their ARN and Barangay Exit Pass, together with two (2) valid government IDs. Kindly bring the original copy of your documents.

For the ARN: Registrants can present a screenshot or electronic ARN copy or the online Step 1 Registration confirmation page, as well as the ARN confirmation text message or email from the PSA.

Step 2 Registration is set to run until December 31, 2021.
