The Philippines celebrates Med Tech Week every 3rd week of September under the Presidential Proclamation 1181 established on September 6, 1973.
The demand for Filipino medical technologists is not only increasing in the country but also internationally. However, in 2020, the Asia-Pacific is presumed to surpass the European Union, landing them a spot in second place as the largest med-tech market—right next to the United States. For CDO-based students who are aspiring to become med techs, you can enroll at Liceo de Cagayan University.
