What’s coming to Netflix Philippines this December 2020

Netflix Philippines released on Wednesday, November 25, the upcoming shows for December 2020. Check out below the new list of the shows coming to Netflix Philippines next month!

December 1: Angela’s Christmas Wish (Netflix Film) – A sequel to the much loved Angela’s Christmas based on characters from author Frank McCourt. The animated film follows the story of a young girl named Angela, who is determined to bring her family together for the holidays.

December 4: Mank (Netflix Film) – a 2020 American biographical drama film directed by David Fincher, based on a script written by his father Jack Fincher in the 1990s. The story revolves around the life of Herman J. Mankiewicz as he wrote Citizen Kane and the problems that arose with Orson Welles during production and leading up to the film’s release.

December 4: Bombay Rose (Netflix Film) – an animated film following a Hindu girl who falls in love with an orphaned Muslim boy after escaping from an arranged marriage.



December 10: Just The Way You Are – a 2015 Filipino teen romantic drama film, starring popular love pairing Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano.

December 10: Alice in Borderland – an unemployed young man was forced to participate in a survival game with his life at stake. Based on manga series “Imawa no Kuni no Arisu” by Haro Aso.

December 11: The Prom (Netflix Film) – an upcoming American musical comedy film, starring Meryl Streep, James Corden, Nicole Kidman, Keegan-Michael Key, Andrew Rannells, Ariana DeBose, Kerry Washington, and Jo Ellen Pellman.

December 16: The Stand-in (Netflix Film) – an upcoming American comedy film, starring Drew Barrymore, Michael Zegen, T.J. Miller, and Holland Taylor.



December 18: Sweet Home (Netflix Original) – a high school student moves into a small apartment after his whole family dies in a car accident. At this time, a mysterious phenomenon of humans turning into monster occur all around the world. The residents in his apartment building were forced to fight against these monsters to survive.

December 18: Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom (Netflix Film) – an American drama film directed by George C. Wolfe and written by Ruben Santiago-Hudson, based on the play of the same name by August Wilson.

December 23: The Midnight Sky (Netflix Film) – an American science fiction film directed by George Clooney, based on the novel Good Morning, Midnight by Lily Brooks-Dalton.



December 24: Hello, Love, Goodbye – one of the highest-grossing films in the Philippines released in 2019, starring Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo. The story follows a struggling overseas Filipino worker and bartender as they attempt to reconcile their careers and love for each other in Hong Kong.

December 25: Bridgerton (Netflix Original) – an American period drama, based on Julia Quinn’s best-selling novels, that follows the competitive world of Regency London high society.

December 30: Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy: Chapter 2: Earthrise (Netflix Original) – on their dying planet, the Autobots and Decepticons battle for control of the AllSpark in the Transformers universe’s origin story.

December 30: Gameboys – a Philippine web series directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal. The series was presented as a computer screen film, following two young boys—live-stream gamer and his fan—who found each other online during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic and the Luzon Island community quarantine.

December 31: Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Part 4 – part 4 of Netflix’s supernatural drama Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
