LIST of Canceled Flights to the Middle East (March 2, 2026)

Manila, Philippines – Philippine Airlines (PAL) and Cebu Pacific (CEB) canceled 10 Monday flights due to rising tensions in the Middle East. Philippine Airlines (PAL) issued an advisory announcing the cancellation of several flights to prioritize passenger and crew safety, affecting routes such as PR 684 (Manila-Doha), PR 685 (Doha-Manila), PR 658/659 (Manila-Dubai-Manila), and PR 654/655 (Manila-Riyadh-Manila).

Cebu Pacific also suspended flights 5J 14/15 and 5J 18/19 between Manila and Dubai, emphasizing that the safety and welfare of their passengers and staff remain their top priority. Both airlines are offering affected travelers the options of free rebooking, conversion to a travel fund, or a full refund.

Meanwhile, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) announced that it is closely monitoring flight operations amid heightened unrest in the Middle East.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) Cancellations:



  • PR 684: Manila → Doha
  • PR 685: Doha → Manila
  • PR 658/659: Manila → Dubai → Manila
  • PR 654/655: Manila → Riyadh → Manila

Cebu Pacific (CEB) Cancellations:

  • 5J 14/15: Manila → Dubai → Manila
  • 5J 18/19: Manila → Dubai → Manila

Both airlines are providing flexible options, including free rebooking, refunds, or ticket conversion to travel funds.

CAAP Director General Raul del Rosario said, “We continue to monitor developments and maintain coordination with airlines and airport organizations.”
