MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Jake Cuenca shared a series of cryptic posts on his Instagram account on Wednesday, April 20, resulting in fueled rumors of breakup of him and girlfriend Kylie Versoza.
The Instagram Stories update of the male lead actor of the Viral Scandal Philippine television series posted quotes, “Whatever someone you become, wherever you are in the world, I’m sending you love,” and “I will try to fix you.”
The actor also shared a photo of a crying woman with a caption text, “I wish I could wipe away your tears.”
He posted the cryptic stories after It’s Showtime episode where the beauty queen, Kylie, shed tears during a candid talk with the host, Vice Ganda, and a contestant about separation that possibly struck her emotions.
“Paano mo malalaman, pag nasa isang sitwasyon ka na parang ang bigat-bigat at ang hirap-hirap, paano mo malalaman kung ang sitwasyon na yun ay pagsubok lamang o isa ng sign?” Vice asked.
(When you are in a situation that seems to be heavy and hard, how do you know if that situation is just a test or one of the signs?)
After the contestant’s answer, Vice added, “Hindi naman laging natatapos ang relasyon dahil naubos na ang pagmamahal mo, may mga pagkakataon na kahit meron ka pang pagmamahal, kailangan mo nang tapusin ang relasyon na ito.”
(A relationship does not always end because your love is gone, there are times that even if you still have feelings, you need to put an end to the relationship.)
Vice proceeds to ask Kylie, one of the episode’s judges, a question about the topic.
“May pinagdadaanan ka bang challenge o may nakikita kang signs?” He asked.
(Are you going through a challenge or are you seeing signs?)
She was not able to answer and turned her head and cried. Afterward, she said “sorry” and explained she was only “touched” by the question.
Following this event, the actress also triggered speculation of a breakup on April 17 after tweeting the word “Broken.”
