Fuel price increase effective January 24, 2023

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The new set of fuel price changes for the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, January 23, 2023, according to industry sources.

In a separate advisory, Jetti will implement a price increase for diesel by Php2.25 per liter, Platinum and Silver gasoline by Php2.80 per liter, effective 06:00 am.

Effective 6:00 am, Pilipinas SHELL will implement a price increase for diesel by Php2.25 per liter, kerosene by Php2.40 per liter, and gasoline by Php2.80 per liter.

Petro Gazz will implement a price increase for diesel by Php2.25 per liter and gasoline by Php2.80 per liter, effective 6:00 am.

Effective 6:00 am, Seaoil will implement a price increase for diesel by Php2.25 per liter, kerosene by Php2.25 per liter, and gasoline by Php2.80 per liter.



Effective 4:01 pm, CleanFuel will implement a price increase for diesel by Php2.25 per liter, and gasoline by Php2.80 per liter.

The estimates for this week are the following:

  • Diesel – Php2.20 to Php2.70 per liter (increase)
  • Gasoline – Php3.00 to Php3.50 per liter (increase)
  • Kerosene – Php2.40 to Php2.90 per liter (increase)

Year-to-date net increase

Effective 24 January 2023, the oil companies implemented the third adjustment for the year 2023: increase in gasoline by P2.80/liter and diesel by P2.25/liter, and a P2.25/liter increase has been effected on the price of kerosene.



These resulted to total adjustments this year to stand at net increase of P3.10/liter for gasoline, and P0.80/liter for kerosene; diesel at net decrease of P0.20/liter.

Oil firms usually announce new fuel price changes every Monday to be implemented on Tuesday. – WhatALife!
