Cagayan de Oro City reported 170 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, May 31, 2021.
BREAKDOWN: On May 29, the city logged 80 new confirmed cases, of which 38 are local index cases, 26 local cases with links, seven local APORs, four local APORs with links, and five deaths. Meanwhile, on May 30, the city has recorded 90 new confirmed cases, of which 49 local index cases, 28 local cases with links, six local APORs, four local APORs with links, one locally stranded individual, and two deaths.
With this, the city has a total cumulative of 7,121 COVID-19 cases.
Out of the total cumulative, 1,213 are active cases, 294 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 981 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and one LSI/ROF.
Dr. Nery also announced 104 new recoveries and 11 deaths, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 5,587 and 321 respectively.
