Cagayan de Oro City reported 16 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Thursday, January 28.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city recorded a total of 16 new cases 10 PM yesterday, eight of which are local cases with links, two local APORs, five local index cases, and one death.
With this, the total cumulative COVID-19 cases in the city are now at 3,295.
Out of the cumulative total, 366 are active cases, 122 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 242 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and two cases under the ROF/LSI category.
Dr. Nery also announced 18 new recoveries and one new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,763 and 166, respectively.
Of the cumulative total, 418 are under the LSI/ROF category, with two active cases, one death (ROF), and 415 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,877 with 242 active cases, 165 deaths, and 2,348 recoveries.
