The Philippine Red Cross has awarded actress and known philanthropist Angel Locsin recognizing her effort to alleviate suffering Filipinos.
The organization presented her the Spirit of Philanthropy Award, and she was only too happy to share it with fans via social media.
The 35-year-old actress posted on Instagram a photo of her holding the certificate.
Not the first time to receive recognition for her charitable work, Locsin was also hailed by Forbes in 2019 among Asia’s Heroes in Philanthropy. In 2020, she earned nods for spearheading #UniTentWeStandPH, a fundraiser that aims to ease overcrowding at hospitals.
Locsin is best known for her role in the 2005 superhero TV series “Darna.”
